Wax based ribbon

Wax based ribbons usually contain a high percentage of wax based raw materials, which determine the melting point of the carbon base. The melting point affects the energy level required for printing. Generally speaking, because the melting point of wax is lower than that of resin, the energy level required for printing with wax based ribbons is much lower than that of mixer and resin based printing. And because most waxes are softer than resins, the durability of printing and printing of wax based carbon belts is not as good as mixers and resin based ones. Most wax based carbon belts have only one layer of coating.

The resin based ribbon contains the highest proportion of resin components, and the energy level required by the printer is also higher than that of wax based and mixed based. Since most resins are harder than wax, the high content value is that this kind of carbon ribbon has several good scratch resistance and corrosion resistance.
